The Magpie and the Jackal

Not sure how much I will be posting, but I wanted to start getting some things in black and white so to speak. I've recently been getting back in touch with some of my pagan leanings, and it has been revealed to me that the primary spirits/archetypes/god(dess) aspects I should/will be using are the Magpie and the Jackal. I would have thought it would be the wolf, as I am very much about wolves, but the Jackal revealed himself to me. It was further revealed that if the Jackal were to be named he is both Anubis and his brother Wepwawet. The brothers do not seem to represent an oppositional balance like the yin yang, but are different aspects of the same archetype of the "god" nonetheless. Thus far little has been revealed to me about the Magpie, other than she is the aspect of goddess that I should primarily be looking to for this time in my life as far as general workings go.
